The Cardinals staked Geissel to an early lead in the bottom of the first inning after coming up with two runs on two hits.
Allen Murphy led off the frame with a walk and came around to score from first when
Ryan Simmons slapped an RBI-double to right to make it 1-0. With a runner in scoring position and one away,

Fisher pushed its lead to five runs in the second inning after scoring three more runs on four hits.
Ryan Brown got things started with a single through the left side before taking second on a wild pitch.
Justin Graham stepped in and laced a single up the middle to plate Brown to make it 3-0. Graham would steal second before Murphy reached base with a single to put two on with no outs for
Thomas Pasquale who cracked a two-run double before the Eagles could get out of the jam.
After a scoreless third inning, Fisher struck again in the fourth with three more runs as the Cardinals loaded the bases before an out had been made.
Ryan Fahy kept the momentum going with an RBI-single to left before Simmons crossed home plate on a wild pitch.
Ryan Brown got in on the action with a sacrifice fly to right that scored Eisenmenger to make it 8-0 in Fisher's favor.
Geissel continued to deal in the top of the fifth as the freshman set the side down in order before Pasquale smacked another double and would later score when Simmons followed suit with an RBI-triple to stake the Cardinals to a nine-run cushion.
In the sixth inning, Brown collected another RBI with a sac fly before the Cardinals plated three more runs in the bottom of the seventh with Pasquale driving in a pair with his fourth double of the game to give Fisher a commanding 13-0 lead.
Husson would notch its lone run of the game in the top of the eighth, but
Jared Wren and
Pat Galer combined to net the final six outs as the Cardinals cruised to the non-conference win.
Pasquale was on fire at the dish as the sophomore infielder went 4-for-5 with four doubles and four RBI while Eisenmenger had three hits including a triple in five at-bats with two RBI. Simmons had two hits including a double and a triple while Fahy went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Brown had two hits and drove in a pair in the win and Graham went 2-for-4 with three steals.
Geissel scattered just three hits over six innings and did not allow a run as the lefty tallied six strikeouts on the day. Wren pitched two innings and allowed one run (unearned) on one hit with a pair of Ks. Galer struck out the side in the ninth.
Fisher will play under the lights at 7 p.m. on Friday against the nation's top-ranked team, UMass-Boston, at Henley Field in Lakeland, Fla.
