The St. John Fisher College men's lacrosse program dropped a 10-7 decision to visiting Hamilton College on Tuesday night under the lights of Growney Stadium.
 With the loss, Fisher drops to 7-8 overall. Â

The Continentals jumped out to a 3-0 lead, scoring two goals in the first four minutes, before Fisher got on the board.Â
Nick Papayanakos scored off a beautiful pass from
Andrew Rosso, while Rosso scored to make 3-2 with just over two minutes left in the opening quarter.Â
Dante Giordano assisted on Rosso's goal.

Hamilton scored late in the period to take a 4-2 lead after one, but Fisher scored the first three goals of the second quarter to take its only lead of the day. Â
Matthew Condon scored an unassisted goal four minutes into the quarter, while
Drew Brown scored back-to-back goals in a 37-second span to put Fisher up 5-4 with 8:23 left in the first half.
Hamilton scored just before the end of the half to tie the game at 5s at the break and scored the first three goals of the second half to take the lead for good.
Senior
Gary Bova made it a two-goal game at 8-6 with 1:54 left in the third, but Fisher's next goal didn't come until the final minute of regulation.
Rosso led Fisher with two goals and one assist, while Brown scored twice. Condon and Papayanakos each finished the game with one goal and one assist.Â
Tanner Swan made 13 saves in goal, including nine in the first half.
Mitch Rein forced two turnovers, while
Jake Clement totaled three ground balls.
Fisher will return to action at 1 p.m. on Saturday against host Alfred University. It is the final regular season game for both teams with the final spot for the Empire 8 Conference Championship up for grabs. Â
