The second set belonged to the Lakers as they used 13 kills to win the set 25-19, drawing even with Fisher in the match at 1-1.
Â
The Cardinals, uninterested in replicating Wednesday's back-and-forth match with Oswego, put their foot on the gas in the third and fourth sets. Using 16 kills in the third set and 14 kills in the fourth set, Fisher was able to win 25-22 in the third and 25-21 fourth.
Â
Marcy led the way for the Cardinals as she racked up a team-high 15 kills to go along with 13 digs and two blocks. Mazierski and
Megan Miller each finished with 12 kills in the match.

Freshman

In the first set, Fisher set the tone for an efficient match early on by recording 14 kills and four team errors leading to a 25-18 victory to go up 1-0.
