Third-seeded St. John Fisher College lost 8-1 to No. 2 Ithaca College on Thursday in the New York Regional of the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.  With the loss, Fisher will now face Skidmore College at approximately 7:15 p.m. tonight in an elimination game.   Fisher rallied from a 5-2 deficit in the ninth inning and defeated the Thoroughbreds 6-5 in 11 innings last night.  Skidmore eliminated Westfield State 2-1 earlier today.

John Quartironi scored the lone run for Fisher, reaching home on an RBI-double from Chad King.

Dan Jurik pitched 5.1 innings for the Cardinals and was tagged with the loss.
