Baseball Wins Two at Fredonia

The St. John Fisher College baseball team improved to 11-5 on the year with two wins at SUNY Fredonia on Wednesday. In the first game, Fisher scored two runs in the seventh inning to earn a 5-4 win. Freshman Andrew Van Slyke hit a sacrifice fly to tie the game, and an errant throw to home allowed the go-ahead run to score. Fisher won 8-0 in the nightcap, Jeff Fetzner went 2-for-3 in the win, while Dan Jurik and Justin Lutes combined for the shutout.
