Paul Hackford (Orchard Park/Orchard Park) started all four matches for the St. John Fisher College men's volleyball team as the Cardinals split at the Golden Flyer Invitational with wins over Lasell and Medialle.
In four matches, Hackford, who was named to the All-Tournament Team, combined to post 121 assists, four service aces, 16 digs, 14 blocks and four kills.
Against Lasell, Hackford posted 38 assists and six digs before adding 29 dimes in a straight set win over Medaille. The Orchard Park native followed those performances up with another 36 assists against well before closing out the week with 18 helpers against Cal Lutheran.
Hackford and the rest of the men’s volleyball team return to action at 7 p.m. on Friday as they travel to Keuka College to taker on the Wolves.
