St. John Fisher University Athletics

St. John Fisher College’s Corey Haas of the men’s golf team has been selected as the College’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending May 15^th, 2016.

Haas finished the week tied for sixth at the NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Championship with an overall score of 298 over four rounds. The senior’s performance guided the Cardinals to 10^th place finish in the NCAA event and fourth-best finish in nationals in program history.

The Cuba native closed out round two of the NCAA tournament shooting and even-par 72.

The lone senior missed short par putts on No. 9 and No. 18, but made four birdies on the day, including a beautiful 2 on the 181-yard No. 3.
