St. John Fisher College’s Cori Holbrook of the women’s lacrosse team has been selected as the College’s Female Athlete of Week for the week ending April 10th, 2016.
Holbrook helped the Cardinals to a 2-0 week with two wins on the road over SUNY Fredonia and Rowan University. With the wins, Fisher improves to 11-1 overall.
In the 8-6 win at Fredonia, Holbrook scored half of the goals for the Cardinals. She also grabbed three crucial draw controls in the contest.
Fisher posted a 13-4 win over Rowan just two days later, as Holbrook tallied two goals, collected two ground balls, and picked up one draw control.
The No. 17 ranked Cardinals are back in action at 7 p.m. on Wednesday for a home game against Nazareth College.
