St. John Fisher College’s Megan Stonebarger of the volleyball team has been selected as the College’s Female Athlete of Week for the week ending October 25^th, 2015.

Stonebarger led Fisher’s offense in its split-result weekend at the Empire 8 Crossover at Houghton College.

The sophomore posted a career-high 55 assists in the match against Houghton and also tallied 14 digs. In her second game she recorded 18 assists and 10 digs, combining for a total of 73 assists and 24 digs in the two-game stretch.

The Liverpool native has recorded a total of 829 assists throughout the 2015 season, good for third in the Empire 8 Conference.

The Cardinals compete next at 6 p.m. on Wednesday when they visit host SUNY Cortland for a non-conference matchup.
