St. John Fisher University Athletics

St. John Fisher College’s Karl Deuble of the men’s golf team has been selected as the College’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 4^th, 2015.

Deuble won the ECAC Division III Mid Atlantic Regional Championship at the Ravenwood Golf Club in Victor finishing 2-under at 142 for 36 holes. The junior shot even with par in the first round, good for second place, just two strokes behind teammate Corey Haas who sat in first after 18 holes.

The Liverpool native led the team in the second round finishing at 2-under with a score of 70.
This championship was Deuble’s first career tournament win.

The Cardinals close out the fall portion of the 2015-16 season next Sunday when they travel to Florida for the Golfweek Division III Fall Invitation at Raven Golf Club at Sandestin.
