PITTSFORD, N.Y., May 4, 2015 — St. John Fisher College’s Morgan Mastin (Wayland-Cohocton/Springwater) of the women’s track and field team has been named as the College’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending May 3.

The senior sprinter posted record-breaking times at the NYSCTC Championships on Saturday, as the Cardinals placed sixth overall with 64.5 points – the best finish in the program’s four-year history.

Mastin placed second in the 100 dash with a new record time of 12.42 seconds. She also placed fifth in the 200 and joined Chelsea Grupp, Jess Colmerauer and Chelsea Cleveland on both Fisher’s 400 and 1600 relays, which earned points and set new Fisher records.

Fisher travels to the University at Albany this weekend for the Last Chance Meet before the ECAC Championships and NCAAs.
