Taryn Guinta (C. W. Baker/Baldwinsville) of the women's soccer team has been named the College's Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending November 3, 2013.

Guinta scored the game-winning goal in the second overtime period as the Cardinals came from behind to defeat nationally ranked Ithaca College to secure a berth in the upcoming Empire 8 Championships.

The midfielder leads all new-combers on the team in scoring this season with three goals to go along with three assists for nine points.

The Cardinals will face the No. 5 Bombers in the semifinal round at 11 a.m. on Saturday in a rematch of last week's thriller.
