The senior guard started the week off by recording her first career double-double, finishing with 12 points and 12 rebounds in Fisher’s 71-65 overtime win against Nazareth College on Tuesday.   Sweeney logged 43 minutes of action, while adding four steals and four assists.

In Saturday’s 76-63 victory over Rochester Institute of Technology, Sweeney scored 10 of her season-high 17 points in the second half, as the Cardinals overcame a 13-point deficit at intermission.

Sweeney also chipped in with six assists (one turnover), three steals, and four boards in the victory.

For the season, the point guard leads Fisher and ranks third in the Empire 8 in both assists (70) and steals (40).  She also averages 7.8 points and 4.5 rebounds and leads the Empire 8 with a 1.84 assist-to-turnover ratio.
