St. John Fisher College has named #William Salter# of the men’s soccer team as the College’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 31, 2010.

            Salter scored Fisher’s first goal in the Cardinals’ 2-1 win at Alfred University on Saturday.   The senior’s goal came in the 54th minute on a shot from 18 yards out, knotting the game at 1-1.

            Fisher won the game with a goal in the 88th minute.

            For the season, Salter played in 12 games, while starting in nine, and finished the year with two goals. Fisher finished the 2010 season with an overall record of 3-12-2.
