St. John Fisher University Athletics

Sweeney shot 6-for-8 from the floor for a season-high 16 points in a 73-68 loss to Medaille College on Monday night. The junior guard had a team-high six steals and added three assists. Sweeney pulled down three rebounds, two off the offensive glass. 

For the season, Sweeney ranks fourth on the team in scoring with 37 points, and leads the team in steals with 31. 

Fisher returns to action after the holidays when the Cardinals travel to Hoboken, N.J. to take on the Stevens Ducks on Saturday, January 2. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m.
