St. John Fisher University Athletics

Yates had the second-best individual score at the Empire 8 Championships this past weekend, played at Blue Heron Hills in Macedon, NY.  Yates finished the two-day competition with a total of 149, seven over-par and just eight below the leader from Susquehanna University.  He shot a 75 on Saturday and a 74 on Sunday.  He led Fisher’s men’s team, who placed first in the tournament with a team score of 603 (296-307).

            The Cardinals return to action Friday, when they travel to Sunday, when they travel to Elmira for day one of the Elmira College Fall Invitational.
