Women's Cross Country Set For Empire 8 Championships

Championship Information

The 2026 Empire 8 Women’s Cross Country Championship takes place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 31 at the SUNY Poly Cross Country Course in Utica, NY. Eleven teams will compete in the 6,000-meter championship. Live results will be available from www.leonetiming.com.

The All-Empire 8 first, second and third teams are determined at the conference's championship meet.

Maggie Bacon – Bacon, a senior, has been St. John Fisher's top performer this season. She had her top 6k performance of the year earlier this month in the Houghton Highlander Invite, recording a time of 24:02.1, good for 23rd place.
