Scott Harris Jr. ’08 was Fisher’s only individual National Champion at the time of his induction after taking medalist honors at the 2008 NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Championship.  That year, he helped guide Fisher to its highest-ever finish at nationals as the Cardinals took third overall.

At the time of his induction, Harris still held numerous program records including single-season scoring average (72.68), tournament wins (13 – seven in ’07-‘08 and six in ‘06-‘07), career scoring average (73.35).

Harris was a two-time Empire 8 Player of the Year and two-time First-Team All-Conference honoree.  He was a two-time All-Region selection and was named All-American twice in his career at Fisher (First-Team All-American in ‘08, Third-Team in ‘07).  In 2008, he became Fisher’s only golfer to win the Jack Nicklaus award, which honors the top Division III golfer in the country.  He also earned the Arnold Palmer Award in 2008.
