A four-year member of the women’s volleyball team, Jenna Waldron was the best defensive specialist the program has ever seen.
During her time in a Cardinals’ uniform, Waldron accounted for nearly 2,000 digs (1,979), which, at the time of her induction, was the most in program history.
The 2007 Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Year, Waldron’s name still appears throughout the single season record book at the time of her induction as her 699 digs in 2008 is first all-time. Waldron also ranked sixth and ninth on the single season list with 553 and 515 digs, respectively.
Waldron, who was named an NCAA Statistical Champion in 2008 with 21.77 digs per set would go on to be named All-Conference by the Empire 8 in 2009.
