Danielle Guccia was named the first All-American in St. John Fisher College softball history, earning national honors in both her junior and senior seasons.
Guccia set the Fisher career record for batting average, slugging percentage and defensive assists.
Her 27-game hitting streak over her junior and senior seasons are not only a Fisher record, but ranks as the 11th-longest in NCAA Division III.
A three-time ECAC All-Star, the third baseman posted a Fisher-record .473 batting average in her junior year, while leading the Cardinals to a 39-11 record and first-place finish in the ECAC North Championship.
As a senior, Guccia again led the Cardinals to the postseason,while batting .442 and setting the Fisher single-season record for slugging percentage.
A Sociology major, Danielle currently resides in Denver.
